To neatly replace a piece of torn wallpaper, follow these steps:

1. Identify the area you want to replace. Choose a spot where the wallpaper is torn or damaged and make sure it is large enough to replace.
2. Prepare the new wallpaper. Measure the damaged area and cut a new piece of wallpaper that is slightly larger than the old one. If you have leftover wallpaper from a previous renovation, use it.

3. Apply the new piece of wallpaper to the damaged area, you can even lightly tape it in a few places so that you can then remove it without damaging the layer. Using a ruler and a box cutter, carefully trim the extra piece of wallpaper around the edge, preferably in the shape of a rectangle.
4. Apply an even, thin layer of glue to the new piece, press and smooth. Gently smooth the new piece to remove any air bubbles and ensure a tight fit to the wall. Use a soft, clean rag to smooth the wallpaper or a rubber roller.
5. Allow the adhesive to dry. After replacing a piece of wallpaper, allow the adhesive to dry completely before using the wall.

Drying time may vary depending on the type of adhesive and room temperature.

6.Mask the edges. If the edges of the new and old pieces of wallpaper do not match perfectly, use a matching color of paint or wallpaper to mask them.
7.Check the result. Inspect the replaced area for imperfections such as air bubbles or irregularities. If necessary, repeat the procedure to achieve a perfect result.
